12 Nov 2020 - Online Workshop: Seeing Identity as a Tool for Change
Date: 12 Nov 2020 (Thursday, SGT)
Timing: 1230pm to 2pm (SGT)
This short 1.5 hours online workshop will help you learn how your identity can be seen as a powerful tool to deal with changes in this Covid season, particularly in the area of relationships.
Feedback from past public workshops:
Victor did a great job at introducing the BEL Framework and how each component influences our being. He effortlessly highlighted different distinctions through very practical real-life examples and smaller group breakout session. The session helped me realised the Assessments I hold and how these can hurt, but also help my relationships. I found the session concise yet not lacking in content and practicality and left feeling empowered and ready to confront, challenge and shift my assessments - and life!. I rate the workshop 9/10 and will highly recommend it to my friends. - Cheryl Tan
Victor ran a great, simple but insightful session on how language/thoughts shape our view of people and situations! He made the session interactive, despite it being held online (over Zoom). Overall, a good peek into this BEL methodology and ways to reform my assessments and thought patterns! I would suggest this session as a teaser, and future sessions could become into a series that focus on facilitating the change in assessments. Overall, 9/10! - Kylie Ng
Victor was excellent in communicating a very simple yet important principle for communication. The importance of knowing what we say and why we say it has the potential to harm or affirm someone. 10/10 Workshop! - Gerald Tan
Workshop Outcomes:
With a specific context on relationships, participants will learn
1. The BEL Framework and understand the components that give us a way to look at our “Identity”
2. How our “Assessments”, a key component that affects our “identity”, impact our decision making and the relationship results we desire.
3. What can we do about our identity if we are struggling with certain relationships.
This workshop is suitable for anyone who might be struggling to adapt to the new way of life in a Covid world, regardless if it is in the work or family or personal life context.
