The Challenge: Motion For Impact was growing rapidly from 12 to 25 full-time staff. Leadership needed support to maintain team cohesion, individual well-being, and performance during a period of significant change.
My Role: As Resident Team Coach from November 2022 to June 2024, I provided ongoing coaching to every staff member, facilitated team sessions, and worked with leadership to build a healthy team culture.
The Approach: I used a combination of CliftonStrengths profiling to help each team member understand their natural talents, and Ontological Coaching to help the team identify and shift unproductive emotional patterns affecting collaboration and performance.
The Outcome: Established culture of openness and care, improved individual and team performance, well-being support experienced and validated by team members, increased ability to have difficult conversations, redesigned hiring, onboarding and culture building processes, increased brand presence that led to stronger talent attraction and recruitment.

cliftonstrengths workshops
A series of Team Building sessions for Motion to strengthen team dynamics and bring awareness to individual and collective strengths
1-1 individualized coaching
Each staff in Motion gets access to 1 on 1 individualized coaching tailored to their individual development plan for their well-being and performance goals.
values workshop
Co-facilitated a values workshop with the Chief Experience Officer to bring a deeper understanding to staff members on what it means to live out values in action
leadership strategic retreat
Delivered a team coaching session for the leadership team to explore ways of engagement, ways of working and team communication processes necessary for culture building

A major part of my decision-making in applying for Motion was my understanding that they had a team coach. That had demonstrated to me where the company’s focus is on – which is its people and their growth.
I have experienced the impact of the 1-on-1 coaching sessions with Victor, which had helped me understand my ways of working, enabling me to grow both professionally and personally in a safe space. I am relatively new to the company, but even then, I have felt the impact that Victor has made to the culture of the company.
