CliftonStrengths Teambuilding and Collaboration - Workforce Singapore

Victor Seet and Workforce Singapore Partners and Operations staff at a full-day CliftonStrengths workshop at Careers Connect

"This CliftonStrengths team workshop was conducted for a team of 38 from Workforce Singapore. The session used Gallup's CliftonStrengths profiling tool alongside ontological coaching to help team members identify their dominant talent themes and explore how to apply them in their day-to-day roles. Participants left with deeper self-awareness and a shared strengths language to strengthen team collaboration.Interested in a similar workshop for your team? Explore CliftonStrengths Workshops →"

Summary:
This was a full day CliftonStrengths team workshop for Workforce Singapore WSG, for the Partners and Operations team. The session was held in Lifelong Learning Institute at Paya Lebar, Singapore, in August 2025.

There were about 38 participants in the session. We started the participants in learning the strengths language and touched on the Strengths Mindset. I facilitated different conversations within the participants so they can have a time of deepening trust and respect with each other through the strengths language. I also had a time of interviewing the director of the division and got him to share about how he leads and what is important for him to make good decisions.

We then shifted focus towards team building and on team dynamics. I facilitated the participants to understand how their individual CliftonStrengths themes shape the way they work and relate to one another and how to leverage each other’s talents to be more effective in partnerships. Participants left with greater self-awareness and practical insights for strengthening collaboration within their teams.

Results:
When asked “What aspect of this program was most impactful for you?”
The feedback received included:
- Looking at distribution of division mates into the 4 quadrants and what each team bring to the table.
- Getting to know more about our colleagues’ strengths and how to tap on their strengths.
- Finding out that even with similar talents, my colleagues and I may approach our strengths differently.
- Knowing about my strengths and how that can complement the team’s strengths.
- understanding the relationship with the team was the most useful

As an operations team, it was extremely hard for everyone to come together so the opportunity created was treasured by the whole team. Thankful for the great feedback and I was delighted to spend the day with them.
