The Engagement:

Victor contracted an ongoing executive and life coaching engagement with Andrew, General Manager at Pico Art International, on a retainer basis. Andrew leads the commercial team at Pico - a role he stepped into following a career pivot from the international banking industry into the events sector.

Five coaching sessions have been completed to date, with the engagement continuing as an active retainer relationship.

The coaching explored multiple dimensions of Andrew's leadership and personal development:

Commercial and Team Leadership — using Andrew's CliftonStrengths talent themes as a foundation for strengthening his leadership of the commercial team, improving team performance, and developing his leadership identity in the events industry context.

Personal Growth, Marriage and Parenting — drawing on Victor's integrated CliftonStrengths and ontological coaching approach, the sessions extended beyond professional performance into how Andrew shows up in his most important personal relationships — as a husband and as a father.

Leadership Succession — Andrew's dominant Futuristic talent theme surfaced a deep concern for the development of the next generation of leaders within his team. The coaching explored how senior leaders and their successors could be equipped with a strengths-based leadership framework — extending the impact of coaching beyond Andrew himself into the broader commercial team.

Outcomes:

Andrew grew significantly in his leadership capability and confidence across the coaching engagement — progressing in his leadership role and tracking towards promotion. The depth of trust developed through the coaching relationship led directly to Victor being brought in to deliver team coaching for Andrew's commercial team at Pico Art International.
