Summary:
This was a 4 x half days Leadership workshop delivered in early August 2026 for 10 leaders working for an NGO. The workshop took place in Kathmandu, Nepal and the key focus was on helping leaders to increase their leadership capacity and skills in doing trust work in teams as leaders.
The session covered many aspects of trust, using experiential activities, storytelling, case studies, role plays, coaching demos and short teachings to flesh out the idea of trust in teams in a cross cultural context. The key work in the first 2 days was establishing psychological safety within the group as there were experienced and new leaders as well as individuals from different countries. I was able to shift the mood in the room from day 2 and there was a clear level of openness and vulnerability as different leaders engage with questions and sharing of their own experiences.
I had several immediate positive feedback and I was very energized by the workshop. Participants share that they left with greater self awareness and they were surprised by the depth that the session covered.
This was my first time to Nepal and definitely had a great time in Kathmandu.
