CliftonStrengths Team Coaching - Motion Events Team

CliftonStrengths Team Coaching Session for Motion Events Group by Singapore Coach Victor Seet

Summary:
This was another Team Coaching session for the Motion Events team. This was the 7th session, held in the Singapore office. This time, we decided to go into discussing team and individual strengths and understanding expectations of each other.

As a highly collaborative team, there are always opportunities to rub each other off in the wrong way. The intent of the session was to help different ones articulate what might be important for each individual and to gain greater awareness of self and the team.

Ontological Team Coaching - Motion Events and Spaces Team

Ontological Team Coaching for Motion Events Team - Victor Seet

Summary:
This was a team coaching session done for the Events & Spaces team for Motion for Impact, held in Singapore. As the in-house team coach, this is something I really enjoyed doing. This session was done in June 2023 and was part of a series of team coaching sessions arranged for this team.

As part of the ongoing Newfield Ontological Team Coaching program, I also had the privilege of getting a mentor coach give feedback to my team coaching sessions to get even sharper in my team coaching practices.

As an ontological practitioner, the team coaching practice and feedback is extremely valuable as I get to observe my own ontological coaching and notice my blindspots.

CliftonStrengths Team Coaching - Motion For Impact Singapore

CliftonStrengths Team Coaching for Motion Events team - Victor Seet

Summary of Session:

This was a team coaching session done for the Events Team from Motion for Impact. In coaching, one of the common moves that coaches do is to hit the pause button. This move is done intentionally to slow things down and to invite people to observe their mental & emotional states. By doing that, the aim is to facilitate awareness and learning.

Got the team to hit the pause button after three consecutive weeks of back to back events. We explored assumptions behind team work. We talked about how to collaborate better. We talked about how to better understand each other using each other’s CliftonStrengths profiles. It was a good pause and a great session.

The goal was for each HR professional to gain greater self awareness and dive deeper into their individual strengths and weaknesses, for the team to deepen their level of trust collectively and for the team to understand the strengths and aspirations of each person to better collaborate, and jointly make decisions together.

In the end, after I coached the team in the area of trusts and emotions, there were some useful conversations on team mood. Each person committed to bringing the mood that will best serve the team.

Summary:
This was the 20th CliftonStrengths (StrengthsFinder) workshop program completed for Singapore Tourism Board. The CMIT team from STB was very engaged and this is probably the most “Singaporean” team I have done a workshop for. The session was held in Singapore and delivered in September 2023.

Was glad once again that I could facilitate a workshop that helped the team understand their team dynamics through understanding their individual and collective strengths. Hope that the session will be more helpful as the team collaborate with each other.
