CliftonStrengths Leadership Workshop - SG Enable Senior Management Team, Singapore

Victor Seet facilitating a CliftonStrengths leadership workshop for SG Enable senior management with engaging discussions and activities in Singapore

The Engagement:

On 7 March 2018, Victor delivered the capstone CliftonStrengths Leadership Workshop for SG Enable's Senior Management Team at the Enabling Village in Singapore. Fourteen senior leaders participated in the session.

The Programme Context:

SG Enable, Singapore's agency dedicated to enabling persons with disabilities, engaged Victor to deliver a series of six CliftonStrengths workshops across the organisation — covering approximately 100 leaders and staff. The senior management workshop was intentionally positioned as the sixth and final session, ensuring that by the time the leadership team gathered, the entire organisation had already completed their CliftonStrengths journey.

The Approach:

Victor structured the day in two phases:

Morning — Building the Strengths Language Senior leaders were introduced to their individual CliftonStrengths talent themes through facilitated conversations that deepened mutual understanding across the leadership team — helping each person gain genuine insight into their own profile and those of their colleagues. The focus was on creating a leadership self-awareness practice.

Afternoon — Leadership Application and Organisation-Wide Analysis The afternoon moved into leadership application — unpacking collective team strengths and the four domains of leadership strengths to understand team dynamics, exploring how individual themes shape working relationships and collaboration styles, and identifying the shifts needed for a more intentional strengths-based approach to leadership.

A distinctive element of this capstone session was the organisation-wide strengths analysis. With all six workshops completed and CliftonStrengths data collected across the full 100-person organisation, Victor was able to present SG Enable's collective strengths profile — giving the senior leadership team a unique strategic view of the talent landscape across their entire agency and how to lead it intentionally.

Outcomes:

The senior leadership team left with deeper insights into how a strengths-based approach could be leveraged to improve both personal and organisational effectiveness — equipped with a shared strengths language and an organisation-wide strengths map to carry into the strategic work of leading Singapore's agency for persons with disabilities.
