CliftonStrengths for Career and Vocation Exploration - Vocare

Victor Seet facilitating a CliftonStrengths vocation workshop for 80 Vocare ministry participants in Malaysia

"This CliftonStrengths workshop, held in Malaysia, was conducted for 80 individuals interested to explore full-time ministry and their vocations. The session used Gallup's CliftonStrengths profiling tool alongside ontological coaching to help these individuals identify their dominant talent themes and explore where their strengths might be a strong fit for specific ministry roles. Participants left with deeper self-awareness and a deeper understanding of how God has given them specific gifts and strengths for ministry roles. Interested in a similar workshop for your team? Summary of Session:
Travelled from Singapore to Johor Bahru, Malaysia to facilitate a CliftonStrengths Career workshop to help each participant discover their strengths and understand how they can be useful for ministry work. The session was held in June 2025 and part of the Vocare program created and designed by Anglican Diocese of Singapore to facilitate those interested to explore the full time calling. Whether the role is pastoral, creative, caregiving, administrative or teaching in nature, it was a time for the participants to listen, reflect and ask questions.

Got to share some personal stories and grateful that the opportunity to prepare and share brought back many memories of my time serving as a full time church worker in Singapore.
I deeply respect the vocational work of religious workers. These people built our communities and societies more than the are given credit for.
