"This CliftonStrengths team workshop was conducted for the Branding, Marketing, Sales, Consumer Services (BMSC) Hong Kong team from Marriott International. The session used Gallup's CliftonStrengths profiling tool to help team members identify their dominant talent themes and explore how to apply them in their BMSC work. Summary:
This was the last of three CliftonStrengths Team workshop customized for the Branding, Marketing, Sales, Consumer Services (BMSC) team from Marriott International. This last session was held for the team based in Hong Kong and was held in the Marriott Hong Kong office on 13 & 14 November 2017. Similar to the workshop designed for the China team, the Hong Kong session was also broken up into two separate sessions, one in the morning and another similar run in the afternoon. We had about 75 people in the Hong Kong team so the group was split into two for greater effectiveness.

Context:
This series of workshop was arranged after a successful delivery of the CliftonStrengths Leadership Workshop for the BMSC Management team in Sanya, China. Chief Marketing Officer Peggy Hoe decided that the staff from BMSC should be trained to understand and apply their strengths for the BMSC work.

So the objective of the series of workshops across Asia was really to help the team members understand each other’s working style, helping participants understand how their individual CliftonStrengths themes shape the way they work and relate to one another. We focused on the top 10 strengths on how the talent themes contributed to the specific work in BMSC. We also covered some of the blindspots. Participants left with greater self-awareness and practical insights for strengthening collaboration within their teams.
