Participants left with greater ownership of their talent themes and how they can engage the talents as educators.
Summary:
This was a half day 4 hours Singapore CliftonStrengths Educators professional development workshop for over 100 educators and school staff from Kheng Cheng School. The workshop was held in the school premises on 02 June 2026. I was part of a team of 5 facilitators for this project.
I was assigned to 4 different groups and each group had about 6-7 educators. My focus was to help the members own their talents in the 4 assigned groups. The energy in the room was keenly felt. We did several experiential activities and group conversations facilitated to help the educators and staff learn and understand how their individual CliftonStrengths themes shape the way they work, teach and relate to colleagues and students.
We also covered the four domains of team strengths to understand diversity while working in teams. We covered the importance of emotional intelligence and how important it is to regulate our talents as educators. The educators walked away with practical insights and applications on how they can sharpen their talents and be more productive as educators.
