CliftonStrengths Leadership Workshop - Adobe Systems Legal Team, Singapore (Session 2)
This CliftonStrengths Leadership workshop is the second session conducted for the Legal Team for Adobe Systems in APAC. The session used Gallup's CliftonStrengths profiling tool to help team members identify their dominant talent themes and explore how to apply them in their legal roles and in engaging other stakeholders. Participants left with deeper self-awareness and a shared strengths language for stronger partnerships and collaboration.
The Engagement:
Victor delivered the second of two customised CliftonStrengths Leadership Workshops for the Adobe Systems Legal Team in Asia Pacific, held in Singapore as part of the team's wider leadership development series. Fourteen legal counsels and leaders participated in this deeper follow-up session. The session was held on 27 April 2016.
Building on Session 1:
Where Session 1 introduced CliftonStrengths fundamentals and the top 5 talent themes, Session 2 went significantly deeper - expanding to the full 34 talent themes and shifting the focus from individual awareness to practical team application, complementary partnerships, and leadership capacity building.
The Approach:
Victor structured Session 2 around four interconnected areas:
The Four Domains of CliftonStrengths Leadership - helping the team understand how Executing, Influencing, Relationship Building, and Strategic Thinking talents distribute across the team and how each domain contributes differently to team performance.
Deepening Trust and Respect — exploring how appreciating each other's talent themes creates the psychological safety needed for genuine collaboration within a high-performing legal team.
Blindspots and Complementary Partnerships — each participant explored their individual blindspots across the full 34 themes, then identified complementary partners within the team whose strengths naturally cover those gaps. This moved the team from self-awareness into intentional partnership building.
Group Coaching - Victor integrated group coaching into the session alongside interactive activities and facilitated discussions, adding a depth of reflection and behavioural insight consistent with his integrated CliftonStrengths and ontological coaching approach.
The Outcomes:
Participants left with a comprehensive understanding of their full strengths profile, clarity on their individual blindspots, and practical partnerships identified for more effective collaboration and expanded individual leadership capacity across Adobe's Asia Pacific legal operations.
Adobe Session 1:
This session was the continuation of the CliftonStrengths Leadership Workshop series for Adobe Systems. Read about Session 1 here.
