People strong in the CliftonStrengths Strategic theme have the unique ability to generate multiple options in their minds. But the genius of the Strategic theme doesn’t simply begin and end with generating the options. People with Strategic can quickly sort through the various alternative paths and determine the one that will work best and most efficiently. Just like this illustration of a chess board, people with Strategic inherently enjoy any activities that require strategies in nature. The most draining activity often is to follow a routine to reach an outcome without the need to strategize. Did another #Singapore CliftonStrengths (formerly StrengthsFinder) Basic Couple Workshop. Had some great feedback and half the group rated the workshop 10/10 and want to sign up for my Advance CliftonStrengths Couple Workshop. I felt very encouraged
A personal highlight was trying out a new idea I had and that particular activity went very well. My #Maximizer theme wanted to start this workshop better than the last time. So my #Ideation kicked in and gave me an idea ten minutes before the workshop started. My #Activator and #Self-Assurance got the activity going and it was very well received. Very thankful!

Did a #Singapore CliftonStrengths (formerly StrengthsFinder) workshop for a group of Young Adult Leaders from Living Sanctuary Brethren Church last Sunday and it was a blast! Always enjoy doing work with non profit groups and churches as part of being a blessing. A personal highlight was seeing Amanda Joy, our newly joined Gallup Certified StrengthsFinder Coach in action. Both of us have the #Activator theme and often on the job training is the best way to learn

People strong in the CliftonStrengths Communication theme love to express themselves in ways that catch others’ attention. They can do that verbally or in writing. They strive to express their ideas or feelings into expressions that stick. They use stories, catch phrases, analogies, examples, metaphors and pictures to put across a message. As the drawing suggests, people with Communication are often comfortable being given the microphone and to deliver speeches. Many enjoy using this talent to be the emcee or being a speaker for events. In the infancy or raw stage, those with Communication are often labeled as “talkative or bad listeners”
People with Communication can partner strongly with those having the Empathy theme. People with the Empathy theme enjoy listening to people in order to understand what others are going through. They prefer to listen first before speaking. People with Communication usually do the exact opposite, preferring to talk and share stories to excite and engage others. Effective communication requires both listening and talking and such a partnership can help one another to be sharpened and become better communicators

Got invited to conduct a CliftonStrengths (formerly StrengthsFinder) workshop as part of the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School's Emerging Leaders' Program. The Leaders came from different organizations and there were participants from Singapore, Japan, China, Pakistan and India. Glad to be able to contribute towards the Strengths Movement in Singapore and Asia
