CliftonStrengths (StrengthsFinder) Leadership Workshop for 100 Singapore Primary School teachers.

This was a follow up workshop conducted after the teaching staff from this particular Primary School in the central part of Singapore had completed a #StrengthsFinder discovery workshop last year. This leadership workshop focused on the application portion and we designed the curriculum using the framework from the book "Teach with Your Strengths". It was very satisfying helping the educators connect strengths with their teaching practices and illustrating the StrengthsFinder principle of talent x investment = Strength. Looking forward to coaching the school leaders and staff and helping the school create a Strengths Based Culture. Transforming the Singapore #education sector school by school.

StrengthsFinder Student Leadership Workshop - SRJC

CliftonStrengths (former StrengthsFinder) Leadership Workshop for student leaders from Serangoon Junior College.

This #StrengthsFinder #Leadership session was done before the student leadership camp. We had the privilege to work with 200 over students and share about Strengths Based Leadership. The session focused on leadership application and how the students can grow their talents to strengths. We touched extensively on the idea of raw and mature strengths and how the different behaviors exhibited impact leadership effectiveness. Feedback on the session was good and the students found the lesson interactive and engaging and took away lots of learning points. Very thankful for this opportunity!

CliftonStrengths Parenting Talk in Singapore for Queenstown Primary School

Immediately after landing in #Singapore, did a #Gallup #CliftonStrengths #Parenting Talk for a parents support group for Queenstown Primary School. Am amazed by the turnout early in the morning since most parents are at work during this time. Had the principal and the vice-principal in the session as well. I shared on the science behind the strengths based approach, including the Strengths based model and framework. Other than the concepts, I also shared some of my stories and insights on Strengths based parenting, especially the fresh experiences arising out of my family holiday in Sydney. The parents were quite engaged and asked lots of questions. There were lots of interaction. Looking forward to a follow up parents and children workshop where we can go deeper into helping families develop a Strengths based culture.

CliftonStrengths Singapore Coaches in Vietnam: Participating in an Appreciative Inquiry Workshop

#Singapore CliftonStrengths (former StrengthsFinder) Coaches at the Workshop cafe at #HCMC #Vietnam. We went through an Appreciative Inquiry session and had a certified leadership coach helped us examine the strengths of our team through a 4D process.   The workshop was quite intense for me and I took away many learning points. Key take away was to be affirmed on how the Strengths School team has developed its capability substantially over the last few years and there is high ownership from the staff on our vision and mission. Awesome time learning and the team is now ready to spend some time eating the awesome food in Saigon!

CliftonStrengths Coaches on a Team Building Retreat in Vietnam

CliftonStrengths (former StrengthsFinder) Coaches flying from #Singapore to #Vietnam for a team building retreat. In this retreat, we have engaged an external leadership coach and consultant who will train us as a team and help us align our purpose and vision. This trip is also for the coaches to do some team building as we will have time to have some fun and bonding time in Vietnam as well. We also hope to go deeper into learning strengths as coaches. My personal goal is to use this trip to be rejuvenated, to be inspired again and to realigned my own personal calling to be a strengths coach and an entrepreneur.

Singapore Education and Career Guidance Student Program: Strengths-Based Game of Life

Singapore CliftonStrengths Game of Life Education and Career Guidance (ECG) Program for Secondary students.

This Strengths-Based Game of Life™ was designed to be part of a Education and Career Guidance (ECG) program for Secondary students. We completed this Strengths based program for 300 over secondary students in one seating in the school hall and it was a major feat. My #Achiever was very satisfied. The Game of Life™ is designed to be an interactive and experiential learning program that helps students apply their strengths while pursuing a career goal that they set out to achieve in the game. The students are required to make different decisions in the game, from selecting a specific higher education path they want to pursue to choosing the career path they want to take. Each of the students then play a whole series of activities that simulates real life decision making. The learning comes from debriefing about the different choices that the students made and how their strengths help them to achieve the required goals in the game. Some of the students will also deepen their understanding of Strengths Based Leadership as they are thrown different challenges in the game. It was interesting to note that many choose to go solo in their pursuit of Life while some immediately form a team and work hand in hand to solve problems together. My favorite portion of the game was the #entrepreneur station. It was evident that from a young age, some students are wired to be future entrepreneurs. Love this Game!
