CliftonStrengths (former StrengthsFinder) for Women in Leadership Marriott Conference in Shenzhen, China. "Dare to Be" is the theme of this Leadership Conference organized by Marriott International for their staff and the purpose is to empower and equip women. It was a privilege to be invited to do a Keynote session in the Day 1 morning of the conference. Other than myself, there were a few other male delegates as well. I spoke to 200 leaders (mostly women) from Marriott on the topic of Personal Mastery. I also had the chance to listen to many top women leaders in Marriott International including Peggy Fang Roe, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of Asia Pacific; Cleofe Albiso, General Manager of Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo; Becky Cao, Vice President, Global Sales, Greater China and Anna-Liza Vergara, General Manager of Sheraton Manila. The stories shared were so powerfully authentic and insightful. It was an amazing experience! Big thanks to fellow Gallup Certified Coaches, Mandy Lin, Carol Chen and Madelia Thia, who went along with me to China to help facilitate the different Mastery activities. The four of us ended the time in Shenzhen with a sumptuous seafood dinner! Fantastic trip!
