CliftonStrengths Team Building Workshop - Microsoft Operations Regional Leadership Team, Singapore

The Engagement:

In July 2018, Victor was commissioned to design and deliver a large-scale CliftonStrengths Team Building Workshop for a regional team of 55 leaders from Microsoft, held at Microsoft's Alexandra office in Singapore. Leaders flew in from across the Asia Pacific region specifically for this week-long programme, with the CliftonStrengths workshop forming a core component of their leadership development week.

Given the scale of the group, Victor led a facilitation team of five CliftonStrengths coaches to ensure every participant received the depth of attention the workshop required.

The Challenge:

Microsoft's regional Operations leaders, drawn from across Asia Pacific, needed a shared framework for understanding individual strengths, deepening team collaboration, and applying strengths-based thinking to their day-to-day leadership and cross-functional work.

The Approach:

The session focused on team dynamics - helping leaders understand how their individual CliftonStrengths talent themes shape the way they work, communicate, and collaborate with one another. Victor's design balanced CliftonStrengths frameworks with experiential activities, team discussions, and practical application, maintaining high energy and engagement across a large regional group throughout the full day.

Outcomes:

Participants left with new levels of self-awareness, a shared strengths language, and practical insights for strengthening collaboration within and across their teams.
