[Bringing Hope and Courage]
I love #coaching because my personal mission is bringing hope and courage to those I meet. Coaching is one of the main avenues I do that.
To me, one of the key distinctions of coaching is that it is a specific conversation about exploring possibilities. It is shifting our attention from the problems faced to the possibilities that surround us.
As an #ontologicalcoach, I have witnessed huge transformation when people engage deep in the emotion of hope and explore possibilities for their own future.
As a cliftonstrengths coach, I have witnessed the joy and delight when people saw their strengths in a new light.
▶ Have you experienced the joy of exploring possibilities of your own future?
▶ Engage a coach with that purpose in mind and you will leave the conversation feeling hopeful.
▶ Coaching is not about problem solving though the process might entail that.
▶ Coaching is done to give you a pair of new eyes to see the world that you have not been seeing.

Discover Your Cutting Edge - Young Adults Experiential Workshop
Organized by Metropolitan YMCA Singapore and sponsored by Hong Kong Land, I had the privilege to facilitate a youth and young adults career workshop with the theme on mental well-being.
Participants were 21-30 years old.
Using the ontological approach, I designed the workshop around the idea of building Self-Confidence and covered 2 key components:
1. Knowing Your Cutting Edge
2. Expanding your capacity for discomfort.
I contextualised the applications towards career development and there were lots of great questions and engagement. There were an experiential experience designed to help the young adults understand how they behave in discomfort. That was the highlight and I’m glad that many walked away understanding what it takes to build self-confidence.

CliftonStrengths Group Coaching - Motion For Impact
[Hit the Pause Button]
In coaching, one of the common moves that coaches do is to hit the pause button. This move is done intentionally to slow things down and to invite people to observe their mental & emotional states. By doing that, the aim is to facilitate awareness and learning.
Different ones at Motion got to do that yesterday as we had a group coaching session together. We hit the pause button after three consecutive weeks of back to back events.
We explored assumptions behind team work. We talked about how to collaborate better. We talked about how to better understand each other using each other’s CliftonStrengths profiles.
It was a good pause.

CliftonStrengths (StrengthsFinder) Team Building Workshop Program - NSCS
After running a CliftonStrengths (StrengthsFinder) plus ontological team coaching session for the management team a couple of months ago, I had the privilege of following up with a CliftonStrengths team workshop program for the wider group. This group of participants work in the public sector and is taking part in the CliftonStrengths Team session for the very first time. I was glad I am able to run a session for them. It was a fun filled morning!
