Had a great morning facilitating the CliftonStrengths workshop with the Regional Team and looking to finish strongly!
What a coincidence and what are the chances! Traveling to China to conduct a CliftonStrengths (former StrengthsFinder) Workshop and bumped into Pastor Lawrence from Living Sanctuary Brethren Church and his wife. He is a man with a very big and generous heart and someone I highly look up to because of the way he leads his church. I enjoy these kind of little surprises. Counting my blessings. All ready for workshop tomorrow!
Off to #China from #Singapore to conduct a CliftonStrengths (former StrengthsFinder) #Leadership #Workshop for a regional team of a Multi-National Company. Traveling with Jason this time. The journey will take quite some time as we travel to Lijiang, a slightly more remote location. Hope for a safe trip. My #Activator is all set, ready to go!
Our Belief is that strengths are built through a culture of honor. Without the ability to honor one another, strengths can be used selfishly and without consideration for others. Even though this is the busiest month for the team, we chose to put time aside to celebrate the birthday of our beloved team member, CliftonStrengths (former StrengthsFinder) Coach, Mandy Lin. Her bubbly and cheerful personality has brought a lot of fun to the team. Her Individualization, Empathy, Developer and Connectedness gave the team a stronger relational capacity. Most evidently, the average height of the team has increased with her around! We are definitely a much stronger team with her addition!
Conducted the last CliftonStrengths (former StrengthsFinder) Couple Workshop for 2016 in #Chinatown Singapore. It has been such a joy to run this program. Every single time I conduct such a workshop, it reminds me of why I do what I do. I give thanks for my own marriage and especially my own wife. Cos of her sacrifices, I can take a night out and continue to impact other couples. I believe that it is so important that couples build their relationship and household by leveraging each others' strengths while helping each other manage their weaknesses. As usual, we did many different learning activities to understand how it is important to have a paradigm shift from the deficit thinking model. The couples had quality time to dialogue how their strengths can serve one another. Truly, Strengths can powerfully contribute to a culture of honor and love among loved ones and family members. What a great way to end the evening!
