CliftonStrengths Team Building Workshop - Singapore MOE (Special Education Division)

Summary:
This was a full day CliftonStrengths Team Building Workshop for Singapore's MOE Special Education Division done in Feb 2017. There was a total of 23 participants.

Part 1 (morning) — Strengths Fundamentals and the Strengths Language
With the educators at varying levels of CliftonStrengths familiarity, Victor ensured every participant was fully grounded in their individual talent themes before moving into group dynamics. Interactive activities and facilitated conversations created mutual understanding across the whole Special Ed team.

Part 2 (Afternoon) — Leadership Development and Strategic Collaboration
Victor led the team through the four domains of team strengths — exploring how to leverage complementary strengths for strategic partnerships, how individual talent themes influence collaboration style and communication. We also explored briefly how trust is built and maintained. Group coaching, facilitated discussions, experiential activities, and individual reflections were woven throughout.

Participants left with greater self-awareness, a shared strengths language, and practical insights for more effective team collaboration.

Personal Reflection:
I happen to have 4 similar dominant strengths with the Director and we hit it off straight away. It is often difficult to weigh the effectiveness of a training workshop and I often have to depend on feedback as an indication to determine if I'm on track. So being able to receive such feedback from the team leader was a huge encouragement to me.
