Emerging Leaders Programme — Day 4 Facilitation, APAC Run 10, Singapore

Victor Seet facilitating global petrochemical emerging leaders program with coaching practices and leadership activities in Singapore

"This emerging leadership program held in Singapore was conducted for a group of 40 new managers and supervisors from different parts of Asia from a global Petrol Chemical organisation. I facilitated some experiential leadership activities and coaching role-plays to help the new leaders gain coaching skills and self-awareness through deliberate practices. The tenth and final APAC run of the UNC-designed Emerging Leaders Programme marked the conclusion of a two-year contracted engagement. Over 16 cohorts across APAC, more than 500 emerging leaders completed the programme — Victor facilitated 10 of those runs, making this one of the most sustained facilitation partnerships of his career.

This final cohort of 40 participants was also the most geographically diverse of all the runs — drawing leaders from China, India, Australia, Papua New Guinea, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Singapore.

The Goal for Day 4

Similar to previous runs, this session carried a clear intention — not just to learn, but to embody. To take everything absorbed across four days of leadership development and live it out. To meet the organisation's Expectations of Leaders not as a framework on a slide, but as a way of being. The self-awareness practice that was developed through the four days were crucial to sustain the journey and to systematically develop leadership capacity in the long run.

Victor co-led the cohort together with Ryan Soares, through leadership labs, coaching practices, and difficult conversations — the same core Day 4 methodology applied across all ten runs, yet carrying particular weight as the capstone of a two-year journey.

A Meaningful Ending

The programme closed with both deep gratitude and genuine sadness — a reflection of the relationships built, the growth experienced, and the community created across the cohort. For Victor, the two-year engagement was as much a learning journey as a facilitation one — expanding his repertoire as a leadership coach and deepening his practice across ten diverse cohorts from across Asia Pacific.

This was the final run of a two-year contracted APAC delivery of the Emerging Leaders Programme — 10 runs, 500+ leaders, across 10 countries.
