Emerging Leaders Programme - Day 4 Facilitation, APAC Run 2, Singapore
"This emerging leadership program held in Singapore was conducted for a group of 40 new managers and supervisors from different parts of Asia from a global Petrol Chemical organisation. This was run 2. The session includes experiential leadership activities and coaching role-plays to help the new leaders gain coaching skills and self-awareness through deliberate practices.
The second APAC run of the UNC-designed Emerging Leaders Programme was held in Singapore in July 2024. Forty emerging leaders participated — representing Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, China, India, Papua New Guinea, and Australia, making this one of the most geographically diverse cohorts in the programme series.
Victor co-facilitated Day 4 alongside fellow Singaporean ontological coach Alice Chia and Leadership Facilitator Damien O’Malley from Australia, leading the cohort through experiential leadership labs, coaching role plays, and developmental conversations designed to build practical coaching skills and leadership self-awareness.
Through the different leadership applications, a key success factor was for the facilitators to share their feedback with the participants as they observe how each participant listen and practice empathy during the coaching conversations. The program is designed to systematically build up the leaders’ capacity over time.
This run is part of a two-year contracted APAC delivery of the Emerging Leaders Programme. See all APAC runs:
