"This CliftonStrengths leadership workshop was conducted for a team of Southeast Asia regional leaders from Johnson & Johnson. The session used Gallup's CliftonStrengths profiling tool to help the team leaders identify their dominant talent themes and explore how to apply them in their day-to-day roles. Participants left with deeper self-awareness and a shared strengths language for stronger partnerships and collaboration.

The Engagement:

In January 2018, Victor delivered a CliftonStrengths Leadership Workshop for the South East Asia regional leadership team from Johnson & Johnson, held in Singapore as part of a leadership retreat. This was the eighth CliftonStrengths engagement in an ongoing partnership with JnJ that began in 2016 — a testament to the sustained value the organisation placed in the methodology and in Victor's facilitation.

Context:

Having built a deep CliftonStrengths foundation across multiple JnJ business units and leadership levels since 2016, this session focused specifically on the South East Asia regional leadership team — helping leaders understand how their individual talent themes shape the way they work, make decisions, and collaborate across a diverse multi-country leadership team.

The Approach:

Victor structured the session in two parts:

Part 1 — Strengths Fundamentals and the Strengths Language
With leaders at varying levels of CliftonStrengths familiarity, Victor ensured every participant was fully grounded in their individual talent themes before moving into group dynamics. Interactive activities and facilitated conversations created mutual understanding across the leadership team.

Part 2 — Leadership Development and Strategic Collaboration
Drawing on his integrated CliftonStrengths and ontological coaching approach, Victor led the team through the four domains of leadership — exploring how to leverage complementary strengths for strategic partnerships, how individual talent themes influence leadership style and communication, and how trust and partnership are built across a diverse South East Asia leadership team. Group coaching, facilitated discussions, experiential activities, and individual reflections were woven throughout.

Outcomes:

The South East Asia leadership team left with greater self-awareness and practical insights for building a more effective, aligned, and collaborative regional leadership team across Johnson & Johnson's South East Asia operations.
