CliftonStrengths Leadership Workshop - Zebra Technologies Supply Chain Team, Penang Malaysia

Victor Seet facilitating CliftonStrengths workshop for Zebra Technologies supply chain team with group discussions in Penang Malaysia

"This CliftonStrengths team workshop was conducted for a team of leaders from Supply Chain from Zebra Technologies. This was session two and a follow up workshop. This session was held in Penang, Malaysia and used Gallup's CliftonStrengths profiling tool to help the leaders leverage their dominant talent themes and explore deeper collaborative work. We also covered extensively on working with blindspots. Participants left with deeper self-awareness and a shared strengths language for stronger partnerships and collaboration. The Engagement:

On 27 February 2019, Victor delivered a full-day CliftonStrengths Leadership Workshop for regional Supply Chain leaders from Zebra Technologies in Penang, Malaysia. This was a follow-up session to a previous full-day workshop conducted in Guangzhou, China. This workshop was the second in a series of engagements deepening the team's strengths practice across the region.

The Challenge:

Having completed an initial CliftonStrengths workshop in Guangzhou, the Zebra Technologies Supply Chain team were ready to go deeper - moving beyond individual strengths awareness into the more complex territory of team dynamics, conflict patterns, and complementary partnerships.

The Approach:

Victor designed the Penang session around three interconnected themes:

Complementary Partnerships - exploring how different talent theme combinations create natural partnerships and how leaders can intentionally leverage each other's strengths for peak team performance.

Tensions and Conflicts - a deeper dive into how specific talent themes create tensions and conflicts due to unique thinking and feeling patterns. Rather than avoiding these tensions, the session helped leaders understand their root causes and navigate them constructively.

Strengths and Values - drawing on Victor's integrated CliftonStrengths and ontological coaching approach, the session explored the relationship between strengths and values - one of the session's most impactful elements, generating deep conversations across the team of leaders.

Despite having attended a full-day session previously, participant enthusiasm and engagement remained at 10/10 throughout - a reflection of the depth of content and facilitation.

The Outcomes:

Participants left with greater self-awareness of their conflict patterns, a clearer understanding of complementary partnerships within the team, and practical insights for strengthening collaboration across Zebra Technologies' regional Supply Chain operations.
