Summary:
Did a CliftonStrengths workshop from an invitation by Joseph Chean, Director of YWAM and personal mentor. The session was part of the Youth Workers Discipleship Training School (DTS). Spent a full day with the different youth workers who came from different countries including Thailand, Nepal, Timor Leste and Singapore. The session focused on understanding self, helping participants to see how their individual CliftonStrengths themes shape the way they work and relate to one another. Participants left with greater self-awareness and practical insights for personal growth.
It was a very enjoyable workshop and thankful to fellow Gallup coach James Ong who helped me out to facilitate the session.
Strengthening Relationships: Coaching with YWAM Couple
Couple Coaching Session: This was a very memorable session. One was my mentor who helped me intentionally with character building when I started my career. Joseph Chean is also director of YWAM Singapore. His wife, coincidentally, was my Secondary School form teacher who impacted me in my youth. I realized how coaching requires so much trust between the parties especially when it comes to coaching in the context of marriage and family relationships. So much vulnerabilities are revealed and trust between each other is critical. The session also did 2 things for me.
it confirms in my heart that I am deeply passionate about what I do.
It made me realized that it is courage that kept me going. Even though I could see myself as an experienced coach, I still felt inadequate to do this coaching session. In the end, the session seemed to do more wonders for me! I realized that if they had not sowed in my life, I will not have been who I am today. I have learnt courage from them and I was determined to practice courage in moving forward. I’m immensely grateful for the trust shown in me.

StrengthsFinder (CliftonStrengths) Singapore Parenting Seminar.
Started the year by addressing over 300 parents and share about how Strengths affect our parenting style and how Strengths increase the wellbeing of our kids. This is the 3rd consecutive year I’m doing such a talk and very encouraged that the attendance has gone from 100 in the first year to over 300 this year. Managed to squeeze out some time to field some questions and answers from the floor. Grateful for the opportunity and for finishing the crazy 1st week of 2019 on a high note.

Keynote address for Marriott International's senior women leaders at a global women's leadership conference held in China. The name of the conference was called ‘Dare to BE”. This was a conference in 2018 and attended by over 200 global leaders. Victor was invited to speak on strengths-based leadership — helping senior leaders across the organisation connect their unique strengths and personal mastery to their leadership identity and impact.

CliftonStrengths (StrengthsFinder) Team Building Workshop - SeraphCorp (SME)

This workshop was done for a group of seasoned and established trainers and we had a full day session covering KNOWstrengths™ and APPLYstrengths™ module. There were lots of engagement and tough questions were asked. Felt like it was a session of iron sharpening iron and I really enjoyed the mental stimulation. Overall, I felt it was a very positive session and I’m glad I took up the challenge of running a workshop for a group of well established individuals in the same profession.
