This was a CliftonStrengths Team Coaching session with seven business leaders. Two were online while the other five were in person, held in Singapore. All seven leaders were from Pico Art International.

What made this coaching session different was that the individuals not only wear hats as business leaders, they wear the hats of family members. They are siblings and cousins.

Many family businesses operate with overlapping roles (the same leader often wears the hat of the owner, management and family member simultaneously). This emotional complexity influences decision-making beyond profit and efficiency.
Stewardship, legacy, and generational continuity are part of the priorities. There is also the process of transitioning leadership. It is not just about competencies in running the business. It is about trust, identity, and family expectations.

The lens of strengths provides a comprehensive set of data that empowers these leaders to see:
- individual leadership strengths and blindspots. The data helps each leader identify and learn about key contributions they can make towards the business. Each person can use the data to see how to lead self, teams and business outcomes.
- Collective leadership team strengths and blindspots. The data helps the group identify alignment areas for strategic business planning and also potential areas of neglect.

Definitely a 10/10 learning experience for me!

After session 1 with the Team Leads and many planning meetings, this was the CliftonStrengths Leadership Workshop session 2 with the deputies. The session was held in Singapore, in June 2025.

It was a fantastic time with this group of creatives! Many are emerging leaders and shared that knowing themselves helped them to be more confident and clear about their own contributions at work.

We talked about strengths as leaders. We explored how strengths can be powerful motivations for our work and how strengths is a powerful lens for communication. We also did some work on trust and how trust is connected to strengths. Participants left with greater self-awareness and practical insights for strengthening collaboration within their teams.

This was a CliftonStrengths leadership workshop I facilitated followed by several sessions of leadership coaching. Did the session for 15 global leaders who were from an NGO. The sessions were held in Lebanon, Middle East and was delivered in March 2025. There were participants from Syria, Lebanon, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, USA, Russia, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, South Korea and Germany.

We focused on cross cultural cooperation and trust building. I also had 1 on 1 coaching with each person to process the emotions and learnings. 
It was truly an eye-opening week of being, doing and learning.

Summary:
Victor facilitated a leadership development session for 40 new and emerging leaders held in Singapore in November 2024. The session focuses on coaching skills for emerging leaders. Participants came from Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, China, India, Malaysia and Singapore.
There a couple of role plays to help bring the coaching skills alive. Victor also facilitated some leadership labs to help the leaders realize how they show show up during highly stressful and dynamic situations and grow in their self-awareness.

Participants left with greater self-awareness and had lots of coaching practice to help them with developing their team members.
