The Engagement:
In October 2024, Victor delivered an integrated CliftonStrengths Team Workshop and Team Coaching session for the Employee Experience team from the Public Service Division (PSD), held at the Treasury Building in Singapore. PSD, under the Prime Minister's Office, is responsible for building and developing Singapore's public service — making the Employee Experience team's own team effectiveness directly relevant to their mission of strengthening the wider public service.
The Approach:
Victor structured the session in two interconnected parts:
CliftonStrengths Fundamentals and Team Dynamics
The session opened with strengths fundamentals — helping each team member learn their individual CliftonStrengths talent themes and explore how those themes shape the way they work, lead, and relate to one another. The team explored both individual profiles and their collective strengths — gaining a team-level view of their shared talent landscape.
A Deeper Conversation on Trust
Drawing on his integrated CliftonStrengths and ontological coaching approach, Victor designed a specific segment and facilitated a structured team coaching conversation on trust — going beyond surface-level team building into the specific dimensions of trust the team was strong in and where they had growth opportunities. By connecting trust directly to individual talent themes, the conversation created practical, personalised insights rather than generic team development content.
Outcomes:
Participants left with greater self-awareness, a clear picture of their collective strengths, and practical insights for strengthening collaboration, trust, and communication within the Employee Experience team.
